As I listened and heard the roar of the engines and then , finally saw the Blue Angels crest the horizon, a lump still formed in my throat even after all these years. Thank God we are free.
I thank God for our nation. I pray that America will always be free.

As an American, I am so very, very proud of the troops who are serving and protecting our country and our freedom in Iraq and elsewhere around the world. My Dad was a Korean war vet who was also willing to make the sacrifice to defend our nation. He survived that brutal war and taught me from a young age that Freedom is not free; it cost so much in human lives.
We all need to be thankful that these young men and women in our military, are willing to sacrifice and defend us. I grow very upset at the “blame America” crowd. This is one reason we should be very alarmed and leary of the Rev. Wrights of the world. We should be suspicious of anyone who sits under preaching that is openly Anti-American.
I do believe that preachers should be calling the people of America to repent of their sins. That is the Gospel message anywhere in the world.But no preacher should conduct themselves as Rev. Wright has. I do not want to associate with anyone who would sacrifice the freedom of all of us for a few, small, special interest groups.
I bless all of you who are serving our country in the military. You are in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers daily. Thank you for keeping me and my family free. Thank you for ensuring my right to speak freely about anything. Thank you Troops, for keeping our liberty intact. I bless you in Jesus Name.

HAPPY 4th OF JULY

Lets continue to keep America FREE. Consider this when its time to vote.

I really don’t know why there would be any controversy surrounding the teachings or ministry of Perry Stone. I have heard so many people try to discredit this brother and for no good reason. Personally, I have watched and listened to Perry for a good number of years and find him to be honest in his dealing with the scripture.

Some people don’t like him because of who some of his friends are; namely, Paula White. But Perry does not teach what Paula White does. I have many friends that I disagree with but I don’t stop being their friend automatically. Some have accused Brother Stone of claiming that his communion package will heal. Stone does not say that. Before you misunderstand, listen to the teaching.

Others dislike Perry because he often teaches Jewish customs and rituals. But he only does that to show how Christ has and will fulfill those customs. For the record, there is nothing wrong, at all with studying the jewish perspective of the scripture, as long as one understands that Christ and Him Crucified is the object of the believers faith.  I will say it loud and clear, I have never heard Perry Stone preach heresy, period.

Those of you who read my blogs and listen to our ministry, know that I preach alot about false doctrine and false preachers.  But in the words of a friend, Perry Stone is one of the good guys. I don’t back up from saying it. We must be careful in our zeal to  guard the truth that we do not become too exclusive. We must not judge others by who they are kind to.

I really enjoy Perry Stone’s ministry and I endorse it.

As most of you know, many prominent TV evangelists are under investigation by Senator Charles Grassley. I have been asked on numerous occasions what my thoughts were on this and so, briefly, I will try and give them here.

I do not believe that the government should interfere in religion whatsoever. Most of you know how I feel about prosperity preachers and the false message that they preach, but at the same time, these type of proceedings will affect us all in the negative, potentially.  The Bible teaches us to provide things honest in the sight of all men so I personally have no problem with anyone looking at my affairs. However, there is a big problem here. The sins and lack of discretion of a few, extravagant TV preachers, can make it very hard for the honest preachers if the church should lose its tax exemption status.

For that and many other reasons, I do not support this investigation. Now let me add this, We ourselves, as Christians, should police these wild spending frauds and stop sending them our donations. That would probably be the most effective way to curb this  activity. I was researching just today on the outrageous prices that Benny Hinn pays for his hotel rooms. More on that in another post.  We, as preachers, should really live modest lives. We are called to be a help and blessing to others. That doesn’t mean that a preacher can’t have nice things, but I think we all agree that this prosperity crowd has went way, and I mean way overboard.

The next question that begs to be asked is, Should the ministry records be made public? To donors, Yes.  Very few others really have a right to know my business. The problem is, in our world of subterfuge you rarely know friend from foe. But if we preachers will live modest and honest lives, that would help. If I was being scrutinized and had done nothing wrong, then I suppose I would show my records. Why not ask Post cereal to see their records, especially if you can’t stand Raisin Bran?   That is where the problem lies.

Now, in some ways, I think the prosperity preachers have brought it on themselves by making all the ridiculous promises; such as, ” send me a $1,000.00 offering and God will wipe out the mortgage on your house.” foolishness. The poor and lonely old are enriching  some of these preachers and, of course, their house never gets paid off but the slick haired, shiny shoe’d evangelist buys himself his third home. I’m sick and tired of that garbage.  If you give an offering for the ministry of the Lord; it had better be used for preaching, teaching, or serving in some capacity.

I doubt if this has answered the original question, but let me say this in closing. Find a ministry that is preaching the true Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him Crucified and give to that ministry and/or church. Don’t stop giving to the work of the Lord, but cut these  false preachers off.

DRIVE OUT ALL UNBELIEF

The Lord has been speaking to my heart about the days we are living in. In the next few weeks, please be looking on our blogs for more on this subject.
Let me say for today, that in the months to come be prepared to have your faith tested. It is very important that you drive out, forcibly, all unbelief. You and I are going to need to fully depend on the Lord as never before. We will have to trust God to provide for us during some tough economic times ahead. Remember, His word promises His provision. If you and I will remove all idols of greed from our hearts and drive out all unbelief, we will live in Goshen during the upcoming hard times. There is some sensitive information that I am not sharing with you here at this time, and I will have to pray about just how and when I can share it. But I want you to trust the Lord and give no place to fear. God will take care of His children.

Fear and unbelief will rob you of much needed faith and focus that you are going to need in the coming days. Please, do not believe the soft, pillow prophets that are telling you that all is going well in our world. Folks, we are living in the last days. But truly, that is no cause for fear. Hard times ARE COMING, but God WILL PROVIDE for His children. You have got to know that. Many people, who truly love Jesus, panic in times of crisis. They worry and they fret. Listen, Jesus hears all cries, loud or soft and He invites us to come and dine with Him. In the coming days, you and I must walk closely with Jesus. Trust Him and believe His promises.

Do as David did when he was overwhelmed by circumstances: he encouraged himself in the Lord. Even your best friends or relatives cannot give you the comfort and direction that you need. This is the work of the Holy Spirit. Here is an eternal word for your encouragement; THE LORD WILL NEVER TURN YOU OVER TO THE POWER OF SATAN, our enemy. Read Psalm 31:8 and Psalm 31:24
Really, you and I should spend much time in the whole of Psalm 31.

” Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.” Hebrews 3:12

” And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not ? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.” Hebrews 3:18,19

Over the years, Oprah has made many statements that show a devotion to New Age ideas but her radio series for 2008 really nails it down.  The entire year has been given to a study of the book;” A Course In Miracles.”  An atheistic psychologist received this course by demonic revelation in 1965. The study came to the psychologist by “mind dictation” and the source identified himself as Jesus Christ.

This is a perfect example of Satan transforming himself into an angel of light. 2 Cor. 11:14    The Oprah Winfrey Enterprise has now become the window to the world for the satanic teachings of the “Course In Miracles.”   It is scary when you consider her entrance into the political arena with her endorsement of Barak Obama for President.

Every idea expressed in the ” Course In Miracles” is totally foreign to the Holy Scripture. It is the language of humanism, psychology, and the occult. It has NO relationship to Jesus Christ and above all, it hates the sacred and Holy blood of the Cross. Satan and his ilk hate the blood of Jesus because the very purpose of that blood is to cleanse sin.

Lets look at some of the teachings in the ” Course In Miracles”.

The Course In Miracles states,  ” The atonement is the final lesson he [ the human family] need learn, for it teaches him that, never having sinned, he has no need of salvation.” [ page 237]

This statement is the message of satan.

The Course In Miracles, promoted by Oprah, further states,  ” The oneness of the creator is your wholeness, your sanity, and your limitless power. [ page 125]   This statement is pure Pantheism. It is saying that the universe is God, that every part is part of the whole, and that we fit in the whole like a cog in the wheel. According to this twisted thinking, there is no separate individual, either God or ourselves.  It teaches that we move in reverse when we “harbor negative thoughts of sin, sickness, or failure.”

Starting with the above stated rebellion against the Heavenly Father, it only gets worse.

Here are a few more of the dark things in ” A Course In Miracles”.

It states:  ” There is no sin”. [ page 9]

” A slain Christ has no meaning” [ page 10]

” The journey to the Cross should be the last useless journey” [ page 11]

” The name of Jesus Christ as such is but a symbol…. it is a symbol that is safely used as a replacement for the many names of all the gods to which you pray.” [ page 13]

Over and over, Oprah Winfrey has declared that Jesus Christ is not the only way to God.  Therefore, As Christians, we must reject her teachings. I urge you to stop watching and listening to this diabolical, Anti-Christ teaching, cancel your subscriptions to her magazines, etc. Sadly, some of this new age ilk has already filtered into the church through ministries such as Robert Shuller, Rick Warren, Joel Osteen; just to name a few. Now is the time to sound forth a clarion call to return to sound doctrine, as taught in the Holy Bible.

Again let me say, that because of Oprah’s tremendous influence, we must speak out against this blasphemy teaching that she, and many others, are promoting. We really must drive it out of the Christian church. We must expose it for that which it really is; Anti-Christ to the core…

We wish to honor all those who have fought to keep us free. We do not take lightly the sacrifice you have made. The resolute truth that freedom is not free, keeps us praying for our service men and women daily. We hold to the promise of scripture, that one day we will live in a world that will be free from all war.

I see the peril of the world, I see it rot. I see the church and know she has not got 

What she should have of Calvary love and passion. She loves her ease and style, and this world’s smile and fashion.

O Christ, was it for this that Thou didst bleed?

For churches blind to human need?

For lounging pew warmers who never tell of Saving Grace to sinners bound for hell ? 

You promised us a baptism of fire. But here we are bogged down in slothful mire. Thy people fat, content, increased in goods, Resentful if we prod them from their moods. Forgive them Father, o forgive!  Shake them awake! And let them live…..   Upon the plane of pentecostal power— Less enduement cannot meet this hour.

Yesterday, when Barak Hussien Obama threw the first punch in his comments about John McCain from the floor of the U.S. Senate, that was fine. But then when John McCain came back with his part of the dialogue , well, Obama began to wail that this is a school yard taunt. There they go again. The liberals seem to feel that they can say whatever they want but when a conservative answers their challenge, it is painted black. Can’t we even talk anymore? Get ready for mud slinging and then, whining from the liberal camp. Forget about making any sense of things from here to November. We can only hope that our next president is not a mud slinging crybaby who wants to appease every rouge nation in the world.
