The you-tube video entitled ” Booty gospel” shows a troubling fact about the modern church. The term ” sex sells” should never be applied in the church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Appeals to the base nature of sinful, fallen man is large in the church of today; and Juanita Bynum is not the only one to cash in on the flesh. Basically, the entire so-called prosperity gospel is merely an appeal to the flesh.
Jesus told His followers to deny themselves and take up the Cross daily in order to follow Him. See Luke 9:23
This is a far cry from so much of what we hear today. We would not have so many questions as to what is right and what is wrong, if we would simply read the word of God and then believe it and act as though it were true. Also, let me say, Miss Bynum, that sex is not a manipulation tool in marriage. To use it as such is witchcraft; pure and simple.
In short, there are many so-called gospels being preached that appeal to the flesh. We must stand up for the truth of the Word of God in the face of all these false prophets of today.
I agree that using sex as a tool or weapon in a marriage has no place in a marriage but i wouldnt say that all of the prosperity teaching is wrong though.. Deut 8 says otherwise but i believe that using that wealth blessing can finance your own rebellion against God if your not careful.. The wealth blessing of the Godly is to be used to finance the gospel, feed the poor and so on..

Thank you for all your comments Eric.
Yes, God will and does prosper His people. Thank God for all his many blessings. All of us need to prosper in many ways.
What I feel is wrong is when people claim that Scripture makes promises that it does not make. Also, preachers are not to appeal to the idols in a persons heart.
Thank you so much for reading the blog.
I look forward to hearing more from you in the future.
God bless you,
